What Information Is Collected by Notary.net

Supply Purchases and Training

When you purchase supplies or training from the Notary.net store, you will be asked to provide certain personal information that will be stored with your order: your name, notary commission information, phone number, billing address, shipping address, payment information, computer IP address, and web browser characteristics. Credit card information is stored securely with Authorize.net, a leading merchant provider, and is not retained on our servers. Notary Profile Information

When you register for a Notary.net account, you will be asked to provide certain personal information that will be stored in your Notary.net profile. The Notary.net profile contains, at minimum, the following information: e-mail address, first and last name, street address, state and postal code. It may also contain additional personal characteristics, such as phone numbers, secondary addresses, languages spoken and education levels, hours of operation, fees, and a photographic image or computer-generated logo. A Note about Electronic Media

If you upload photographic images to the Notary.net website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images on the website.
